Co-Founder of Advance Forward Medical Billing, Katherine Britt's impressive career in the healthcare industry spans various roles and accomplishments. She is a registered nurse. With vascular surgery experience, Kathy is also a certified biller, coder, and auditor.  

Some of her prior experience includes working as a clinical research nurse with the Department of Defense and is the former owner of a clinical research company both of which enriched her understanding of regulatory requirements, writing skills, and data analysis.

She is skilled in understanding clinical documentation, denial management, appeal writing, peer-to-peer discussions for denied authorizations, educating payers on practice standards, and representing providers in administrative law judge appeals for Medicare claims. 

Kathy’s front and back medical office experience gives her a unique perspective and understanding on how to assist and train providers and staff on operational and documentation requirements to help improve their revenue cycle.
