Laura has been a dedicated professional in the medical field since 2001, with roles in pre-determinations and patient advocacy, including team leadership for general and bariatric practices. 

In 2007, she transitioned into vascular medicine and surgery as a refund specialist, focusing on reviewing insurance overpayments and processing refunds. Over seven years in this role, Laura developed a deep understanding of insurance protocols and patient account management.  

Laura then expanded her expertise by moving into accounting and accounts payable, where she spent nine years refining her skills in financial operations. 

She returned to her role as a refund specialist when she joined Advance Forward Medical Billing in 2024. With her unique blend of billing, patient advocacy, and accounting experience, Laura brings precision, efficiency, and a patient-focused approach to managing insurance refunds.
